I began my journey as a corporate graphic designer in marketing at a law firm. When things began to tumble for me in 2015, I found myself gravitating to my first love-- fashion. I had always been intimidated by the lack of inclusivity I had seen and experienced not only in the media but in society. I let that fear overcome me for far too long.

 

I've always been taught that if you want to see something change for the better, be the change the world needs. I set out to change the narrative in the Chicago fashion industry with no resources or sense of direction-- only a passion. Some may call it risky but I call myself a dreamer. That dream led to DREAM BIG MIDWEST, Chicago's first plus-size fashion and beauty conference.

 

For three years I've met some of the kindest, most ambitious, beautiful arrangement of curvy women that I would have never imagined. The drive to model and be seen in a positive light no matter what body type these women were is why Outré Curve exists. Making dreams come true by having a heart to help is how I thrive. Now, my goal is to connect the resources I have made to see YOU thrive.
