What is a doula?
A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.

Birth Doula
As a birth doula, I would take care of the mother before, during, and just a few hours after the birth.
Postpartum Doula
As a postpartum doula I would come to the house and help the mother throughout the postpartum experience.
